Michelle Adams BS, MPH
MP Level 4, CISSN, CSCS, USAW, KBC
Originally hailing from western Massachusetts, Michelle Adams received both her Bachelor’s degree and Master of Public Health degree from the University of South Carolina. She is a Level 4 MP trainer with over 16 years experience in personal training.
Michelle is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA CSCS) to train athletes and improve athletic performance. She is certified by the CISSN as a Certified Sports Nutritionist to provide top-quality sports nutrition advice to athletes. Michelle is also certified by USA weightlifting as a certified sports performance coach to teach progressions of various weightlifting movements, as well as a kettlebell instructor.
She is the Director of Science and Education for Metabolic Precision; a science based, research proven personal training and transformation program based in Australia contributing both nutrition and training related research articles.
Michelle is a competitive athlete herself having competed as a professional figure athlete in the IFBB with career highlights including a first place finish at the 2006 IFBB Montreal Figure Championships.
Her more recent endeavors have returned her to her first love: running. A former track and cross-country athlete Michelle has moved into marathon and ultra marathon running. In 5 short years she has completed more than 23 races marathon distance or longer, including the prestigious Boston Marathon.
In addition to working with physique and endurance based athletes to improve both their training and nutrition strategies. Michelle enjoys nothing more than helping people learn the truth about nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle.
She currently lives in New Jersey but travels throughout the United States as a General Nutrition Centers sponsored athlete.
